Care to dance?

I got this idea of an AU with Combat princess(joan) and her love interest Chris.

In this AU Chris is kidnapped by 's character who is like the lord of the dead and a necromancer which Joan hates and kills almost anything that is dead (zombies) So anyway chris ( guy in top box) gets kidnapped by necro and Joan has to bring this very powerful and ancient amulet to necro in trade for her lover. Necro says that the drop off will be held at a ball he is hosting and that she must look presentable for its a condition to get chris back.

So here she is at a ball surrounded by all these dead people which is making her twitch and junk. So she is wearing a black dress with a warrior green sash around it and of course she wouldn't come unprotected so she is wearing golden armor too. As she is walking around she spots lord necro and he raises his glass as he smirks at her. She watches as his eyes flick to something over her shoulder. Suddenly she feels a tap on her back. She quickly turns to the person who dare touch her.

She then comes face to face with Chris. She sighs in relief upon seeing him but quickly her breathe catches and her stomach sinks. The warm brown eyes she most desperately missed were gone. Staring back at her were bright green eyes. Her gaze quickly swept his face taking note of all the changes. The cheeks that would flush with anger at her were now pale and sunken in. The lips that would caress her skin in the mornings were now a pale blue. The brown hair she would watch as he tugged at in frustration was now dull and shine less. The scar on his face was even paler than normal. The face she was looking at was not Chris. It was the face of a stranger. A DEAD stranger.

Joan took a quick step back as his hand raised and his palm opened. His cold eyes pierced hers as her asked

"Care to dance?"
